In my case they helped me get rid of my knee problems that were caused by flat feet, my posture has definitely improved (more vertical posture rather than a bit tilted forward before using them), I would say better balance, I think my foot (arch) muscles have strengthened a bit...that's pretty much it in my case. I got them with the hope they'd help with my knee pain and they did the job. No comments yet from other people who tried the insoles from Morton's Foot ( Posture Dynamics). I actually welcome any and all comments as they benefit everybody who stumbles upon my site and bring forth more info on other people's experience.
Cheers

Hey! I was wondering if you have seen any improvements? I have flat feet. I ordered the 6mm. It's been about 2 weeks now. Haven't seen any improvement. I guess I'm just really anxious & hoping to see that there is a solution to this. Please let me know. It would help out a lot :)

Thanks!

Hey Alex!

I have flat fleet and almost all the effects that Morton mentioned on their website (curved spine, rotation of the spine, bony pelvis, etc). Have you received any comments from individuals like me who have seen improvements with use of the posture control insoles? Also, it's been a while now -- what other improvements have you seen for yourself?

Do the test on the Morton's foot website to make sure the posture control insoles are right for you, perhaps contact them and explain about your ankle sprain problem and see what the say. Perhaps see a podiatrist as well about your ankle sprains / flat feet. I'd make sure that any sprain you have is healed before you try any insole / orthotic for flat feet...but that's just my opinion and as I said before I'm not a podiatrist
Good luck!

The muscular symptoms you are describing after jogging or using a treadmill are typical in feet that excessively twist (pronate). Those muscular symptoms can be eliminated by directly treating the cause that forces your feet to pronate.

Thanks for opening up people's eyes to the huge variety of arch supports / foo torthotics available. I wish they were all worth the money you pay for them! As a pedorthist, all I can say is do your research before you buy...

You're right, I found the site looking for "exercises for flat feet". I'm definitely going to check out the website and those insoles. When you stated in your first blog that the wedge is under the toe, it confirmed a "eureka" moment. I noticed that if I could have lift under my toe, my feet (ankles, knees, calves) would feel great. My feet are so flat it's practically arching in the other direction toward the floor-LOL. Podiatrists have looked at them and said that they've never seen feet that flat. So, I hope to learn more about the insoles and hope they may work for me. Orthotics absolutely do not and all doctors have said that. Thank you for posting this information!

Maybe see another podiatrist, If you think the posture control insoles are good for him, maybe give them a try. I wrote a little about my experience with them in this blog.

I don't work for them, I'm just very pleased with their insoles and I affiliated my blog to their website. I started to write this blog more or less out of frustration because all the other orthotitcs I tried didn't really do much for me. As I was pleased with their Posture control insoles I wrote about them in detail. I'm trying to gather and post more info about flat feet here but I'm pretty busy and didn't do much lately. Hopefully in the near future..

Shoes are the weak link in Proprioceptive Therapy. Unstable shoes can actually distort the signals initiated by the proprioceptive insoles, resulting in an increase in the postural distortional pattern and with it, an increase in musculoskeletal pain.

Examples of this can be seen at: http://blog.rothbartsite.com/2009/05/13/the-consequences-of-using-the-incorrect-proprioceptive-insole--joints.aspx
